Cocoa Beach, FL: My Little Things

We went on a family vacation to Orlando Florida in November last year and decided that we wanted our family portraits to be at the beach. We got to go to the Cocoa Beach Pier and play in the water, sand, and I got to play with my camera. These were my favorite pictures of Thing 1 and Thing 2.

My Thing 1 loves being a goof ball. I let him get all of his goofies out and we had a blast!

I love the lighting in this image, it's beautiful and even though Thing 1 isn't looking at me, he's genuinely smiling!

Two more of my genuine little boy being himself. The second had waves around his legs.

I love the lighting on all of these images, but I was playing with the angle. This first one was a little higher so he had to look up at me.

With this image I wanted to try and get one where he was looking straight on. I ended up liking them both because of the different framing it created with the pier.

Isn't Thing 1 an awesome model?!?!

Ahh, my little Thing 2. He hasn't been exposed near as much to the camera at a young age like Thing 1 was. He still is just as adorable doing his own little thing though.

This is my favorite image of Thing 2. He's smiling, happy, and totally in his element. Thing 2 loves to be outside and it's devastating to him when he can't go out. In all of his pictures I love the sand on his face because I want him to be himself. I grew up in the dirt and I do believe that he has gotten that from me. I love it!

You know you can't resist me!
