I've been looking around for a new lens and have been doing research on which one I wanted to purchase, so I was able to convince this lovely high school Senior to be my model. She is gorgeous!!! You were fantastic! Thank you Abby!
Wheeler Farm, Salt Lake City, UT: Abby's a Senior!
Here's that post I promised of Abby. Yes, she gets her own because she's a Senior in High School this year! And what a beautiful Senior she is!
I loved Abby's expression in these images so much that I did one in B&W and the other in color.
This is my other favorite! Maybe it's because her brother-in-law was pulling faces and saying some pretty funny stuff on my side of the lens....
Best of luck with your Senior year Abby! I know you'll make it awesome!
South Jordan, UT: Aaron's Mission and Senior Portraits
I had the opportunity to take this handsome young man's portraits in a few different places. I'm slowly learning of good places to take portraits in this area, but I will hopefully find more as the weather warms and I go out and about.
Aaron is leaving for his mission to the West Indies July 10, 2013 where he will speak French. I don't know if there is a lot of variation in French, but his Dad spoke French on his mission as well. Pretty cool huh?

The Oquirrh Mountain Temple is his home temple so it was pretty appropriate to start there for his mission pictures.

What a handsome young missionary!

If I remember right, this is the Trinidad flag where the West Indies Mission office is located.

These are seven of the ten flags representing the multiple islands Aaron will be serving in.

I love this picture of him, it was so much fun to make Aaron smile. Not only fun, but easy!

He wants to end up as a medical student at the U (University of Utah) as a Medical student. He currently is doing his externship for his medical assisting. Pretty impressive for a Senior in high school.

Aaron has some of the most handsome blue eyes I've ever seen and this wall behind him, makes them pop out even more!

Thanks Aaron for letting me take your Mission and Senior Portraits. I wish you luck on your mission and hope that you are able to serve the Lord and those he needs you to serve faithfully and diligently.
Ririe, ID: B's Senior Portraits
Right before my family and I moved to Utah, I had the opportunity to take some pictures of this handsome senior guy. He is very lively and so happy. His younger brother came along for the shoot and was able to be a few himself.
Rigby, ID: A's Senior Announcements
I love this Senior! She is an amazing young woman and has a full life ahead of her. She has great potential and the drive to works towards what she wants in life. Here are her graduation announcements. Best of luck my dear!

Cocoa Beach, FL: S Senior Portraits
I know you've seen this Senior before, so you're probably thinking, "Why is she on here again? It's been a couple of years." Well, she is graduating in July, but this time with her Bachelor's degree. We're so excited for her, especially since she's my little sister.
She got this cute fedora on our family vacation and wanted pictures with it, how could I say "no" to her.
This image is my favorite of the three, because this is truly her. Her genuine smile, and the happy-go lucky sister I know and love. I also love the B&W.

Rigby, ID: A Senior Portraits
I had tons of fun with this high school Senior in her original shoot, but we weren't able to take her any images of her in her cheer uniform. So, when we took her family's portraits we were able to find a few wonderful spots with beautiful lighting that looked great with her in her uniform. I love how the fall colors just make her pop out of the images. We didn't take very many and these are the ones that she selected.

I love this shot! Her little niece loves copying her aunt, especially in her cheer uniform!

Ashlie Senior Portaits: Rigby, ID
I realize I haven't posted in a while. Trust me, I've been trying to get to it. I have tons of images for the weekly challenge, but I just haven't gotten them up. So here is what is going to happen. I'm going to start the weekly pictures back up again, but I'm only going to do between one and three images. It will make my life less complicated. Until then though, I have lots of portrait sessions to post, so here goes.
This lovely young woman was actually part of my final Portfolio for college. I was so excited to shoot her pictures and we had a lot of fun. She had lots of different outfits which was fun for me to work with.
Gorgeous!
I loved that she had this casual polo and jeans. I definitely think this shows her fun loving side.
She had an awesome eye for color. I showed her the pictures of this rusty ol' pickup and she brings this out fit that totally matches, LOVE IT!
This is one of my favorite images of the entire photo session.
I tried something a little different with these last two images, and I love how they turned out. I just added a little bit of texture and and some grunge.
Thanks for letting me shoot your Senior pics Ashlie I had a lot of fun and hope that it was as enjoyable for you as it was for me.
