Steven and Alyson: Reception

Steven and Alyson are from Chicago, however all of Alyson's family is located in southeastern Idaho, thus a wedding in Rexburg. I don't exactly know the details, but something came up for their photographer and they were unable to shoot the reception. I know one of Alyson's grandmothers and she contacted me the about 6 hrs before the reception. I was happy to shoot their reception, and if you can't tell, we had fun!

I think that the bridesmaids are actually Alyson's cousins, but I wasn't for sure. Like I said, I met the couple at the reception.

I think this is one of my favorite shots because he's so tuckered out from playing and running around the reception hall.

Steven actually yelled right after this shot "Okay everybody let go!" Alyson freaked it turned out to be quite the hilarious ending.

"More please Daddy?" Poor Dads, their pockets are always empty after such events.

I thought this was fun because it makes it look like the men were conquered.

They didn't have a wedding cake, but trust me this looked just as good. It had Angel Food Cake, with banana pie filling (pudding?), raspberries, strawberries, and blue berries. Something I hope to try in the future.

Steven and Alyson, although I didn't get to know you all that well, thanks for having me shoot your reception. I hope that you had just as much fun posing for the pictures and I did taking them. Congrats!
