December Wedding

How does that song go? "Slipping through my fingers all the time." And boy howdy does time seem to keep doing that. I hadn't realized it but I never posted this beautiful wedding from back in December. They are such an awesome couple. You can tell how much he loves her just by the way he treats her and listening to him speak to her. I love these two for many reasons, my favorite reason is because my little boy (Thing 1) adores the groom (he loves the bride too don't worry) but it's just fun to watch them play together.

Anyhow, here's what you've been waiting for. Thankfully, they were willing to do their wedding pictures the day before and it was great because the next day it was even colder and snowing and the clouds were heavier so naturally it was darker. I'm sooooo glad we did it the day previous. Plus, they felt so less rushed and short on time. I'm not lying it's the truth!  First look, can't you tell excited they are to see each other?

 I love how happy they are. I just get all gooey :).

We went inside to warm up, and there was some nice window lighting.

A simple, elegant cake that the groom's mother made. It was beautiful and tasty.

I thought this was going to be completely posed. Nope, I was wrong. It sure doesn't look like the bride is going to win her new husband does it? She's playing tug 'o war with her new sister-in-law.
