Rexburg, ID: S Family Portraits

I had so much fun with this family. We just laughed a good portion of the time and they had a blast as well. I felt great when the oldest boy said at the end of our shoot "Wow, that was the best family picture session we had, no one ended up crying." I was definitely happy to hear that. The weather sure was finicky though. We had thunder, a little lightning, heavy clouds with rain, and completely and totally bright sunshine. Okay it was really finicky. We had a blast though.

I had too many favorites. So I put up a lot of images :)

I love the colors they wore. It just helped them to "pop out" against any background I put them against.

I thought I might try a different cropping and found that I liked the way it turned out. Don't worry I have lots of classic cropping and they turned out awesome too!

I would love to put more children's portraits in trees, but unfortunately, you can't always find the right one for posing. Little Miss here helped pick this one out and I think she did a fantastic job.

This image is my favorite. It's not posed, (okay maybe a teeny, tiny bit) and they actually did something similar before we even started the shoot. Love it!

Now isn't he a good lookin' guy?

Sorry ladies, he's not available, he just left for his mission in Buenos Aires, Argentina and won't be back for two years.

Lovely Little Miss here is a ballerina. She has all these wonderful poses and couldn't stop giggling during the shoot. She would randomly break out in giggles and kept everyone happy.

Such a lovely young lady.

I love Mom and Dad, not only has Dad been a great mentor to my husband, but they are genuinely caring, good, and happy people. It was pleasure taking their family portraits, despite the interesting weather.
